Amazon CloudWatch Network Monitor integration

New Relic infrastructure integrations include an integration for Amazon CloudWatch Network Monitor, sending its metric data to New Relic.

This document explains the integration's features, how to activate it, and what data you can report.

Features

Collect and send telemetry data to New Relic from your CloudWatch Network Monitor using our integration. Monitor your services, query incoming data, and build dashboards to observe everything at a glance.

Activate integration

To enable this integration, see how to connect AWS services to New Relic.

Find and use data

To find your integration's metrics, go to one.newrelic.com > Metrics and events and filter by aws.networkmonitor.

Metric data

This New Relic infrastructure integration collects the following Amazon CloudWatch Network Monitor data:

Network Health Indicator supports two values for beta-0 (AWS Network is health) or 1 (AWS Network is Degraded)

RTT

milliseconds

The time (in milliseconds) that it takes for a network request to go from a starting point to a destination

PacketLoss

Percent

Packet loss is measured as a percentage of sampled packets note received by the source before a static timeout is reached

Create alerts
