New Relic integrates with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to monitor AWS Backup metrics and other data to New Relic.
This document explains how to activate the integration, and describes the data reported.

Activate integration
This integration is available through CloudWatch MetricStreams.

Find and use data
To find your integration's metrics, go to one.newrelic.com > Metrics and events and filter by aws.cloudsearch
.
Additionally, you can find the entities associated with AWS Backup by going to one.newrelic.com and searching for cloudsearch
.
Metric data
This New Relic infrastructure integration collects the following Amazon CloudSearch data:
CloudSearch Metric data
Metric (min, max, average, count, sum) | Unit | Description |
---|---|---|
| Count | The number of search requests successfully processed by a search instance. |
| Count | The number of searchable documents in the domain's search index. |
| Percent | The percentage of the search instance's index capacity that has been used. |
| Count | The number of partitions the index is distributed across. |
All imported data has one dimension: DomainName
Create alerts
You can set up to notify you if there are any changes. For example, you can set up an alert to notify relevant parties of critical or fatal errors.
