Update the New Relic agent

To ensure that you have the most up-to-date version of your New Relic agent, refer to the release notes for your product. To download and install the latest version, see the instructions for your agent.

Update New Relic APM

To see what is the most recent agent version available for your app:

  1. From the account dropdown in the New Relic UI, select Account settings.
  2. Review the Update your New Relic agent table on the right side of the Summary page.

The UI also includes information about established releases and download links as applicable. For more information, review the documentation for your agent:

Update New Relic Plugins

To update plugins from Plugin Central, refer to the individual plugin's documentation provided by the plugin's publisher. For typical installation instructions, see Installing a plugin.

Plugins is not supported with accounts that host data in the EU region data center.
