Providing troubleshooting information (Java)

If none of the Java agent troubleshooting tips resolve the problem, gather the following information.

Include with support request Notes
Permalink Include a permalink to where you are not seeing the data that you expect. This shows the exact page and time period that you are observing. If your application has not appeared at all, then get a permalink to the app's main page.
Your app's newrelic.yml Note: Your application's newrelic.yml configuration file contains your license key and proxy information (if needed). Remove this information before sharing it.
Log files

If any logs are appearing for your agent, include the finest level logs beginning with your JVM startup and running for several minutes.

If no logs are appearing for your agent, include your JVM's startup logs that show the JVM opening the newrelic.jar file.

Use the logfile to troubleshoot the issue. If you need further assistance, this information is useful when getting support at support.newrelic.com.
