New Relic's integrations include an integration for reporting your Azure Front Door data to our products. Here we explain how to activate the integration and what data it collects.
Activate integration
To enable the integration follow standard procedures to activate your Azure service in New Relic.
Configuration and polling
You can change the polling frequency and filter data using configuration options.
Default polling information for the Azure Front Door integration:
- New Relic polling interval: 5 minutes
Find and use data
To find your integration data, go to one.newrelic.com > All capabilities > Infrastructure > Azure and select an integration.
Data is attached to the following event type:

Metric data
This integration collects Azure Front Door data for FrontDoor.
Front Door FrontDoor data
Metric | Unit | Description |
---|---|---|
| Count | The number of client requests served by the HTTP/S proxy |
| Bytes | The number of bytes sent as requests from clients to the HTTP/S proxy |
| Bytes | The number of bytes sent as responses from HTTP/S proxy to clients |
| Bytes | The number of billable bytes (minimum 2KB per request) sent as responses from HTTP/S proxy to clients. |
| Count | The number of requests sent from the HTTP/S proxy to backends |
| Milliseconds | The time calculated from when the request was sent by the HTTP/S proxy to the backend until the HTTP/S proxy received the last response byte from the backend |
| Milliseconds | The time calculated from when the client request was received by the HTTP/S proxy until the client acknowledged the last response byte from the HTTP/S proxy |
| Percent | The percentage of successful health probes from the HTTP/S proxy to backends |
| Count | The number of client requests processed by the Web Application Firewall |
