This feature is currently provided as part of a preview program pursuant to our pre-release policies.
A budget establishes a spending limit for an account over a flexible timeframe ranging from one to twelve months. It helps you control cloud expenditures by monitoring them against this predefined limit.
Set up Budgets
Navigate to Cloud Cost Intelligence
Navigate to one.newrelic.com > All Capabilities > Cloud Cost Intelligence.
Access Budgets
From the left-hand navigation menu, select the Budgets tab.
Create budgets
- On the Budgets page, click Create a budget.
- In the Create a budget pop-up dialog box, enter the following information:
Budget name: A descriptive name for your budget.
Select the required setup type:
Review and confirm
Review the final budget setup, then click Create.
Importante
Cost Intelligence gives the average compute cost over the last 3 months. This is calculated based on the actual spend in the past 90 days.
