In New Relic APM, the Go runtime page displays important runtime data useful for troubleshooting performance issues. You can also filter data by server.
Access to this feature depends on your subscription level.
Find the Go runtime page in UI
The Go runtime page is available to Pro-level New Relic APM accounts that monitor a Go application. This page is located on the left-side navigation bar in the New Relic APM user interface, under the Monitoring heading.
If this page shows a feature preview instead of data, it is because you do not have the necessary subscription level.
Filter by server
To filter Go runtime data by servers:
- From the Go runtime page, select Servers.
- Select a server to filter on.
Go runtime charts
This table describes the Go runtime page chart data:
|Goroutines||A count of the average number of goroutines running during a given time slice.|
|GC pause time||Milliseconds spent in stop-the-world garbage collection.|
|GC pause frequency||Calls per minute of stop-the-world garbage collection.|
|GC pauses||The percentage of wall-clock time spent in stop-the-world garbage collection.|
|CPU utilization||CPU utilization as a percentage of available CPU.|
|Memory||Average memory used, in mebibytes, during a given time slice.|
