New Relic products automatically populate your Insights account with data in objects called events. The data is contained in specific events that have default attributes associated with them. This allows you to query your app data for answers to a wide variety of questions, such as "How many active users do I have in China right now?" or "How much memory does my mobile app use after 30 seconds?"
Like any other New Relic product or service, the Insights service is designed to protect you and your customers' data privacy. It reports on data recorded by other New Relic products and services; it doesn’t record data on its own. For more information about New Relic's security measures, see our security and privacy documentation, or visit the New Relic security website.
