preview

We're still working on this feature, but we'd love for you to try it out!

This feature is currently provided as part of a preview program pursuant to our pre-release policies.

Infrastructure 360 automatically discovers the infrastructure in your cloud accounts, maps the relationships between your resources, and tracks the configuration changes across them. Together, these give you a current picture of what you're running, how well you're monitoring it, how it connects, and what's changing across your environment.

Capabilities

Infrastructure 360 gives you the following capabilities, so you can:

  • See your reliability coverage: Auto-discover the resources in your connected cloud accounts without first setting up metric streaming or polling, so your inventory stays current as your environment changes, and you can see how well you're monitoring each resource at a glance. Guided nudges help you close monitoring gaps, such as connecting a cloud account or installing an agent where you haven't fully instrumented a resource.

Auto-discovery creates entities and relationships, not telemetry. A discovered resource gets an entity, tags, its cloud configuration, and a place on your maps, but you still need to connect metrics or install an agent to collect the data that powers charts and alerts.

  • See how your resources relate: See the relationships between your resources, so you can understand how your applications and infrastructure connect and depend on one another, and trace impact back to a shared dependency when something degrades.

  • Track configuration changes: Track configuration changes across your discovered resources (what changed and when) with a configuration explorer and a change-tracking timeline on each entity.

    Note

Infrastructure 360 applies a built-in threshold of 100 change tracking events per entity per day. This threshold doesn't limit data ingestion. New Relic always ingests your latest configuration files and all their structural changes.

  • Get one connected view: See all of your infrastructure in one place (cloud resources, hosts, Kubernetes, and databases) in the New Relic account you have access to, and bring the alerts, cost, and security signals for your infrastructure together in a single view.
