Servers for Windows service unexpectedly ends once each day

New Relic Servers is no longer available. For infrastructure monitoring, please use New Relic Infrastructure. For how to switch to Infrastructure from Servers, see the transition guide.

The Servers for Windows process stops once each day. Usually, the service stops at midnight, whenever Windows checks for updates, or whenever the host is restarted.

This issue occurs when the SCCM 2012 health check improperly terminates the Servers for Agent process. This issue was fixed in SCCM 2012 Service Pack 1. To resolve the issue, install SCCM 2012 SP1 or higher.
