Infrastructure integration dashboards and charts

A New Relic Infrastructure integration provides you with a dashboard containing several data charts. This document explains where the data comes from and what you can do with dashboards and charts.

As of August 10, 2018, New Relic integration dashboards are now located in Infrastructure, instead of in Insights as they were previously. If you were a user accustomed to your dashboards in Insights, see the transition guide for tips on switching to this new functionality.

Pre-built integration dashboards

Integrations built by New Relic come with their own dashboards, which contain several charts of data from the monitored service. Integration charts are created automatically. Behind the scenes, New Relic runs Insights NRQL queries of your integration data and uses the results to create charts.

Every chart includes an option to view the NRQL query associated with it, and an option to add that chart to an Insights dashboard.

Chart functions

To see the options available for a data chart, hover over a chart and select the [ellipses icon] icon. Options include:

  • Add to Insights dashboard: adds to an existing Insights dashboard or a new one.
  • View query: displays the Insights NRQL query that generated that chart.
  • Get as image: presents a publicly accessible URL for sharing the chart as an image.
