New Relic offers various integrations for reporting data to our platform. One category of integrations is our Infrastructure integrations.
New Relic has two main categories of infrastructure integrations: cloud and on-host.
Cloud integrations collect data from cloud services and accounts. There's no installation process for cloud integrations, you simply connect your New Relic account to your cloud provider account.
Connect your Amazon Web Services (AWS) account to monitor and report data to New Relic.

Connect your Microsoft Azure account to monitor and report data to New Relic.

Connect your Google Cloud Platform (GCP) account to monitor and report data to New Relic.

On-host integrations are infrastructure monitoring integrations that can be run directly on your host or server:
Monitor and report data from many popular services, including NGINX, MySQL, Redis, Apache, RabbitMQ, and many more.

After an infrastructure integration is activated, you can:
- Filter and analyze the metrics and configuration data in our Infrastructure UI.
- Query your data and create custom charts and dashboards.
- Create alert conditions to monitor problems with your services' performance.
- For cloud integrations, configure data collection settings.
Infrastructure integrations generate some basic types of data that you can use in New Relic.
Numeric measurement data. Examples:

Important activity on a system. Examples:
Key-value pairs generated by some integrations. Examples:
