> #### 💡 PREVIEW
>
> We're still working on this feature, but we'd love for you to try it out!
>
> This feature is currently provided as part of a preview program pursuant to our [pre-release policies](https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/licenses/license-information/referenced-policies/new-relic-pre-release-policy).

Before you begin, review [Requirements and supported entities](https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/infrastructure/infrastructure-360/aws/prerequisites-infrastructure-360-aws). Access to Infrastructure 360 requires enrollment in the preview. Navigate to **one.newrelic.com > Administration > Preview & Trials**, and enroll for **Infrastructure 360**.

There are three ways to enable Infrastructure 360 for AWS.

## Enable during AWS onboarding [#onboarding-enable]

If you're connecting AWS to New Relic for the first time, enable Infrastructure 360 directly in the onboarding flow when you set up your AWS integration.

## Enable for an existing AWS integration [#existing-enable]

If you already have AWS integrated with New Relic, follow these steps:

### Manage AWS integrations [#manage-aws-integrations]

To install Infrastructure 360 through your existing AWS integration:

1. Go to **[one.newrelic.com](https://one.newrelic.com) > Infrastructure > AWS**.
2. Click **Manage AWS Integrations**.
3. Find the account where you want to enable Infrastructure 360, and click **Install**.
4. For **Infrastructure 360**, click **Install**, then **Launch CloudFormation Template**.

### Deploy the CloudFormation stack [#deploy-cloudformation-stack]

Deploy the CloudFormation template that New Relic generated:

1. On the AWS console, acknowledge the CloudFormation stack and click **Create stack**.
2. Wait for the stack's resources to finish creating (this can take several minutes), then go back to New Relic.

### Configure scan region and frequency [#select-region-and-frequency]

By default, New Relic scans all regions enabled in your account once a day. On the side panel, you can customize this:

- To scan specific regions only, select or remove regions as needed.
- To change the scan frequency, select an interval of 8, 12, or 16 hours. Minimum interval length is 8 hours. Intervals below 8 hours automatically default to 8 hours.

### Enable auto-discovery [#enable-auto-discovery]

On the confirmation screen, click **Save** to enable Infrastructure 360 for this account.

## Enable from the Infrastructure 360 page [#landing-page-enable]

To enable Infrastructure 360 from this page:

1. Go to **[one.newrelic.com](https://one.newrelic.com) > Infrastructure > Infrastructure 360**.
2. Enable the functionality for your AWS provider accounts under this New Relic account.

If this page is blank (you haven't enabled Infrastructure 360 for any provider yet), click **Setup Infrastructure 360** and then enable the functionality.

## Use Infrastructure 360 [#using-infrastructure-360]

Once enabled, you can explore your AWS infrastructure in New Relic.

### View discovered entities and relationships [#view-entities]

After the stack is created, go to **[one.newrelic.com](https://one.newrelic.com) > Infrastructure > AWS** to view all AWS services from the integration step above. When a monitored application runs on AWS resources, you can explore relationships in New Relic maps, including relationships between AWS entities, between APM entities, and between AWS and APM entities.

### View entity configurations [#view-configuration]

To view an entity's configuration:

1. Go to **All capabilities** and select **Amazon Web Services**.
2. Select any entity from the list and click **Configuration explorer** to see its current settings, tags, and properties.

## Manage Infrastructure 360 settings [#manage-settings]

### Adjust scan region and frequency [#adjust-frequency]

To adjust the scanned regions or scan frequency:

1. Go to **[one.newrelic.com](https://one.newrelic.com) > Infrastructure > AWS**.
2. Click **Manage Infrastructure 360**.
3. Find the account you want to update, and click **Edit**.
4. Update the scanned regions or scan frequency, then click **Save**.

### Disable Infrastructure 360 [#disable]

> #### ⚠️ CAUTION
>
> When you disable Infrastructure 360, you lose access to the entities it discovered and their configurations. The infrastructure map no longer displays relationships discovered by auto-discovery.

If you re-enable Infrastructure 360 later, it recreates any entities and relationships that no longer exist, during its next scheduled scan.

To disable Infrastructure 360:

1. Go to **[one.newrelic.com](https://one.newrelic.com) > Infrastructure > AWS**.
2. Click **Manage Infrastructure 360**.
3. Find the account where you want to disable Infrastructure 360, and click **Edit**.
4. On the side panel, turn off the scan.
5. Click **Save** to disable Infrastructure 360.
