Clean up your agent configuration file

When you turn on server-side configuration for an application, some of the settings in your agent configuration file will no longer be respected by the agent. To prevent confusion about which settings actually control the agent, New Relic recommends that you disable the following sections if applicable in your agent configuration file:

  • transaction_tracer
  • error_collector
  • thread_profiler

For more information about configuration file settings, refer to your agent's configuration documentation.
